Birkett-Hogg, Winifred Sheila
The funeral was held on 13th November for the late Winifred Birkett-Hogg of Winsford and formerly Moulton who died on 5th November 2006 aged 80 years. Winifred was born in Altrincham the older of two girls to the late William and Bertha Burgess. She became known as Sheila and was brought up in Marston and Lostock Gralam attending school at Rudheath. She married her husband William on 8th September 1945 at Lostock Gralam Parish Church. They settled in Castle before moving to Lostock Davenham and finally to Moulton sadly she was widowed in November 1977. Sheila worked at the I.C.I. Managers Dining Hall at Workshouse Lostock. She liked flower arranging was a member of Moulton Women's Institute a choir member at Davenham Parish Church and member of Mother's Union Sheila also enjoyed going on outings and family gatherings. She leaves a daughter Denise daughter Sandra and son in law Keith son Keith and partner Tamsin grandsons Neil Craig and Carl and great grandson Liam. The service was held at St Wilfrid's Parish Church Davenham conducted by Canon Michael Walters prior to committal at Walton Lea Crematorium. In addition to family floral tributes donations were received for Winsford Grange Nursing Home and Ward 6A Stroke Unit at Leighton Hospital. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service Northwich.
