Funeral report for the late Esther Jump The funeral was held on Monday 25th February 2008 for the late Esther Jump née Bell, who died 2nd February aged 97 years. Esther was born in Northwich to the late Joe and Esther Bell, the youngest girl of nine children. She was brought up in Rudheath where she also attended school. She married the late Tom Jump in 1932 in Northwich, settling first in Liverpool Street, Rudheath then later in Valley View, Rudheath. Sadly Esther was widowed in 1975. She was in service during the war then became a housewife. She enjoyed watching sport on the tv, playing bingo and dominoes at Rudheath club and helping others. Esther is survived by her six children, two sons in law, 3 daughters in law, seventeen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. The funeral service at Shurlach Methodist Church, conducted by Rev’d Richard Towle, was followed by committal at Altrincham Crematorium. Flowers were received and donations for Acorn Hollow Nursing Home. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service, Northwich.
