Funeral report for the late Gladys Allmark The funeral was held on 9th July 2008 for the late Gladys Allmark nťe Walton who died 27th June aged 90 years. Gladys was born in Northwich to Fred and Emily Walton, the youngest child of four children having two sisters and a brother. She was brought up in Northwich and attended Victoria Road School. She married Richard Allmark on 20th July 1940 at St Helenís Parish Church, Northwich, settling in Northwich before moving to Greenbank where they remained. Sadly Gladys was widowed in 1977. During the war she made Spitfire parts, afterwards she worked in a sewing factory, then later as a dinner lady. Her interests included watching football, dancing and knitting. Gladys is survived by her daughter Jean, son in law Tony, Grandchildren Paul & Helen, great grandchildren Michael & Ryan and her great great grandchild Erica. Family flowers were received and donations for St Helenís Parish Church, Northwich. The funeral service held at St Helenís Parish Church, Northwich, conducted by Revíd Malcolm Cowan, was followed by committal at Altrincham Crematorium.
