Funeral report for the late Mona Paul Northwich Guardian The funeral was held on 5th June 2009, for the late Mona Paul née Dutton, who died 28th May aged 88years. Mona was born in Chorlton, Manchester to Mary & William Dutton, the younger of two children having an older sister Molly. She was brought up in Manchester where she also attended school. She married Joseph Paul on 1st January 1949 at Northwich Registry Office, settling at first in Ollershaw Lane, Marston before moving to Weaverham. During the Second World War she worked at a munitions factory in Warrington. She later worked as a shop assistant and home help. Her interests included gardening, reading and knitting. Mona is survived by her sons Eric, Ray & Ian, daughters-in-law Gillian & Catherine, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a niece & nephew. The funeral service and committal held at Walton Lea Crematorium were conducted by Canon Michael Walters. Family flowers and donations for the Alzheimers Society and Audlem Country Nursing Home Resident’s Fund were received. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service, Northwich.
