Funeral report for the late Eunice Margaret Parrott Northwich Series The funeral was held on 26th June 2009, for the late Eunice Margaret Parrott née Britland, who died 15th June aged 75 years. Eunice was born at home in Glebe Road, Cuddington on 6th March 1934 to Cyril Thomas & Gladys Martha Britland, the middle child of three having an older sister Eileen to whom she was incredibly close and younger sister Shirley whom she lost contact with some years ago. At 14 she moved with her family to Timperley when her father, who worked for British Rail, was moved to manage the signal boxes on the Manchester to Chester line. She met and later married James Parrott on 1st November 1952, living in Altrincham and the local area for a short period of time before moving to Delamere. From there they moved to Maple Lane, Cuddington where she lived for over 50 years. Sadly Eunice was widowed in 1996. She had several jobs throughout the years but enjoyed enormously her years at the Post Office in Sandiway and her time at Greenwoods Men’s Outfitters in Northwich. She was much loved and respected by all of the family and by her wide and varied circle of friends. Her company was sought by many as she was a great listener and always willing to help and comfort others. She will be greatly missed for her kindness, generosity and for all of the love she so willingly gave. Her overwhelming passion was her family, friends and her loyal companion Carla. Eunice is survived by her children Keith, Steven & Jillian, grandchildren Claire, Adam, Jonathan, Phillip, Matthew & Christopher and great grandchildren Georgia, Owen, James, Kyle & Meghan. The funeral service and committal held at Altrincham Crematorium were conducted by Rev Martin Cox. Family flowers and donations for the British Heart Foundation were received. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service, Northwich.
