Funeral report for the late Trevor Hancock Northwich Guardian The funeral was held on 16th July 2009, for the late Trevor Hancock who died 6th July aged 57 years. Trevor was born in Northwich to Harold and Elsie Hancock, the second youngest of eight children having five brothers and two sisters. He was brought up in Castle and Northwich and attended Darwin Street Primary School and Hartford High School. He remained in Northwich all his life starting work at Pimlottís Boat Yard as a welder. He worked for a short time at the Post Office before moving to Joseph Parkís where he also worked as a welder. He later became a taxi driver for Station Cars. He was an avid Northwich Vicís supporter. From about the age of 15 he played in many local bands as an accomplished drummer. His interests also included golf, pool, snooker and playing bowls for Rudheath Club. Trevor is survived by his sons Darren & Christopher, daughter Victoria and grandsons Connor & Samuel. The funeral service held at St Helenís Church, Northwich, conducted by Rev Malcolm Cowan, was followed by interment at Northwich Cemetery. Flowers and donations for St Lukeís (Cheshire) Hospice were received. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service, Northwich.
