The funeral was held recently for John Norcott Pritchard of Whitegate who died on 26th March 2012, aged 73 years. John was born in Burtonwood, near Warrington on 27th May 1938, to parents Thomas Frank and Clara Pritchard, he was the younger of two boys; having a brother Charles. He grew up in Burtonwood, Lancashire. John settled in Davenham, Northwich and later moved to Whitegate. He was a farmer at Davenham and proprietor of Madryn Castle Caravan Park in Wales. John lived life to the full and enjoyed concerts, world cruises and boating. He was a member of the Cheshire Tractor Club and a founder member of Cheshire Farmers Club. John is survived by his son Steven, daughter Caroline, grandchildren Samantha & Jessica, his partner Anne and his brother Charles. The funeral was held at St Wilfrid’s Parish Church, Davenham, conducted by Revd Martyn Cripps, followed by interment in the Churchyard. Floral tributes were received and donations for Macmillan Nurses and St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service, Lostock Green, Northwich.
