The funeral was held recently (16th April) for the late Thomas Anthony Boyle of Moulton who died on 31st March, 2012, aged 74 years. Tommy was the oldest child of Tom and Annie Boyle (née Carney). He was born in New Street, Northwich on 15th February 1938 and had two brothers and one sister. He grew up in Northwich and attended St Wilfrid’s School. He married Pat Kenny on 16th July 1960 at St Wilfrid’s R C Church, Northwich settling in Middlewich Road, Rudheath. From there they moved to Greenside Drive, Lostock Green; Pennys Lane, Lach Dennis; Carlton Road, Northwich then to Weaver Grange in Moulton. Tommy completed his National Service and later became a self-employed Digger Driver. In his younger days he had football trials for Manchester United, of whom he was a supporter. He was a very good player and a member of Lostock Gralam Football Team, who won many competitions. Tommy enjoyed watching any football game on TV. Tommy is survived by his wife Pat, son Shaun, daughter Jane and his grandchildren Emma, Adam & Grace. The service at St Wilfrid’s R.C. Church was followed by committal at Walton Lea Crematorium. Father Jonathan Mitchell was the celebrant. Family floral tributes were received and donations for Alzheimer’s Society. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service, Lostock Green, Northwich.
