The funeral was held recently for Margaret Louise Hatton of Leftwich, who died on 18th August 2012, aged 72 years. Margaret was born in Lostock Gralam, to parents Jim and Louie Cross, she was their eldest child having a younger sister Barbara. She was brought up in Lostock, before moving to Leftwich and attended Lostock Primary School and later Rudheath High School. She married Harry Eaton Hatton on 19th July 1958 at St Wilfrid’s Church, Davenham and they settled in Leftwich, where they remained. Sadly she was widowed on 19th July 2012. Margaret worked at Conlowe’s sewing factory, The Woodpecker, Sir John Deane’s and Davenham Day Care Centre. She enjoyed family gatherings, watching soaps on T.V. and going to see live performances at the theatre. Margaret is survived by her daughter Julie, son Colin, son-in-law Colin, grandchildren Selina, Kieran, Georgina and Carl, also her sister Barbara. The funeral was held at St Wilfrid’s Parish Church, conducted by Revd Martyn Cripps and was followed by interment in the churchyard. Family floral tributes were received and donations for Macmillan Nurses. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral Service, Lostock Green, Northwich.
