Forster, Violet Emily

The funeral was held on Thursday 23rd February for the late Violet Emily Forster of Rudheath who died on 12th February 2006 aged 93 years. Violet née Daniels was born in London Road, Northwich and had three brothers and five sisters. She was brought up in Northwich and attended Danebridge Church of England School. Violet married Henry Page at Davenham Parish Church on 27th January 1934, she was widowed in 1961. On 21st October 1961, she married James Forster at Davenham Church, he passed away in 1965. Violet lived first at Leftwich, before moving to Rudheath, spending her last nine years at Heathbrook Care Home.. During the war Violet worked at I.C.I., later she was a School Crossing Warden at Rudheath Primary School. She enjoyed sport, especially watching snooker on T.V. she was fond of quizzes and liked trips out with her friends. She is survived by her daughter, son and stepson, four granddaughters, one grandson, two great grandsons and three great granddaughters. The service was held at St Helen’s Parish Church, Northwich , followed by interment at Northwich Cemetery conducted by Rev Barry Jobber. In addition to family floral tributes, donations were received for Heathbrook and Leighton Hospital. Arrangements by George Bell Funeral, Greenacre Funeral Home, Northwich.
