Barri Dodgson,Dip F.D., M.B.I.E., Managing
Director
Originally from an engineering background where, as a Chartered
Chemical Engineer
he worked as a Project Manager in the Chemical Plant Contracting
Industry, Barri entered the funeral vocation
on the retirement
of his wife Ann's father, in order to continue the business
of the then Thomas
Johnson & Co.
Following the
change of name
to Dodgson's Funeral Service, the business of George Bell which
had been established in Northwich since 1910,
was merged with
the company prior to the retirement of
Mr Bell,
subsequently
becoming Dodgson & Bell Funeral Services.
Both
companies continue
today under the ownership
and management of
Barri and Ann Dodgson. |

Ann
Dodgson,
Dip F.D., M.B.I.E., Company Secretary
Ann was brought up in the funeral business,
having assisted her
father in the family
run firm since leaving school. Anticipating
that her
involvement with the company
would be at an end with the retirement
of her father and having married Barri
during his career as a Chemical
Engineer,
it came as something of a surprise to
learn of her husband's
interest in continuing
the business.
During the ensuing
years, Dodgson & Bell Funeral Services
has gone
from strength to strength in
Knutsford, Northwich and the surrounding
districts. In addition, they have continued
to develop the firm's enviable
reputation
for providing a sensitive and caring
service. |

Damian Dodgson
Barri and Ann's son, Damian, joined
the company in July 1994 and
during the
intervening years has become a valued
member of the
team. Damian's role as
Funeral Director is providing him with
a
secure grounding as he prepares to
carry the business forward in
future
years. |

Tony Gerrard
Tony joined our team in 1985 and has
become a loyal
and valuable
member of staff. He was to make a substantial
contribution
to the
task of setting up
our Northwich/Lostock
Green Chapels of Rest and
is widely regarded
as a trusted
and well respected Funeral Director. |

Adrian Jeffrey
Adrian is a valuable member of the Funeral
Team and has overall responsibility for
our vehicles, the company's most visible
every day showcase.'AJ', as he is best
known, is a valuable worker behind the
scenes, helping to keep a smooth running
team operational. |

Tony Hobbs
The newest member of our team and an
invaluable asset in all
aspects of our
work, Tony has had to become 'George'
so that we
don't confuse him with Tony
Gerrard! |

Sandra Hancock
Sandra is the firm's Office Secretary
with responsibility
for press
a
nnouncements, acknowledgements
and reports,
as well as being tasked
with the work
of keeping our website up to date.
Also in charge
of the memorial work and all the charitable
donations
we handle on behalf of our
clients, Sandra has become an expert
in
the ever increasing printing requirements
of the business. |
